I always wear a full face and if not my leather jacket then my denim. Use to ride with my shield
more than half way up, big 1 pound of a moth put an end to that ; stung like a softball
and felt 100 times bigger than it actually was. Found what was left later on the side of my head. Never mind the pain, disgusting taken that crap out of my hair and off my face(aaauuugghh).
BY the way Iv'e wrecked going 15 mph took my eyes off the road looking for the reserve knob went into the side gravel, bike slide right from under me took my left leg and boot with it. Took me about 6'. Rear wheel grabbed tip of my boot, yanked my foot between the belt gaurd and wheel; sucked it in. All the while the weight of my bike on my right leg and thigh pinning me down;helmet slammed on the egde of the road. twisted my ankle and knee preety good. Thought it was going to pop the pressure was so intense.
Wear protective gear guy.
